AZB4K BOARD VISIT

Last month we were visited by AZB4K President Jeanette Baetsle and Board Member Letty Fowell.  They answered volunteer questions, shared stories, brought us a collection of nice fabrics and a huge basket of quilting goodies for our raffle table!  It is always nice to have a visit from any of the AZB4K Board members and an honor to meet those generous volunteers dedicated to keeping the organization going.

SOMETHING SPECIAL

At the end of every bee AZB4K Distribution Board member, Cheryl, shows up to collect all of our completed quilts.  She is responsible for distributing quilts to several organizations serving children in need of comfort.  Cheryl recently shared with me a Thank You letter and picture from one of those organizations.  Click HERE to check it out.

SPECIAL RAFFLE

Last month we started two large raffle items.

The first item is a Generations Create a Bag.

It's an innovative rolling workstation which includes pockets to organize and store your supplies.  This is a rugged piece of rolling suitcase luggage.  There is a roomy interior cavity for projects or a small portable sewing machine.  There is plenty of storage areas with zippered closures and a hidden telescoping handle.  Created for scrapbookers, great for quilters and crafters!  This great tote will be on the raffle table for several months giving all volunteers the opportunity to purchase chances.  (Supplies not included, picture is representative of bag offered.  See in person at Peace by Piece sewing bee!).

The second item is the wonderful basket put together by AZB4K Board Member Letty Fowell (see photo in paragraph #1).  Letty is a raffle basket making QUEEN and the winner of this basket will not be disappointed.  Opportunities for this basket were sold during last months bee and will be available again this month.
