WHERE'S ALL THE KITS !?! |
Earlier this week PBP volunteers received an email from me asking this question... WHERE'S ALL THE KITS!? Really, the kit basket was so low on kits that we may have had enough for two people on bee day! It was really short notice but I asked for volunteers to meet me at the PBP closet for a day of creative kit making and some of you were able to rearrange your schedule and do just that. We had a very productive day and the kit basket now holds 44 new kits !!! Thanks to all of you that were able to give your time to the effort that day, without kits we couldn't have bees where we continue making HUGS for kids.

QUILTING FRIENDS... |
|
Last month I shared with you that we had sent a box of fabric to our quilting friends on the eastern side of our country. Those Project Linus gals LOVE the fabric we send them. Last week I received a Thank You card from them and they shared that the fabric will used to make quilts for an organization that services children and their families in many different way. |

WHAT GOES AROUND... I'm sure you've heard that saying... 'What goes around, Comes around'. It has been my observation that every good deed comes back to you. We send fabric to our quilting friends in the east and in return things are given to us that helps us in our mission... or not. Sometimes things are given to us that we can't use... or can we? Last month a very cute donated table runner that we couldn't use was auctioned on ebay and raised $20. This month we spent that money to buy flannel that you will be sewing on at this weeks bee. What goes around, comes around.
